Nice and easy as the French like the majority of the EU use Euros.
A couple of tips:
If you are changing Euros at the Airport order them online in advance and you will get a better rate.
Not all UK banks have Euros in stock, especially if you need over 500, best advice is to search out the best exchange rates and order them well in advance.
You can of course use credit and debit cards in France, the chip and pin system has been here for years and works well. However, make sure you notify your bank that you are travelling to France or they may block you card for security.
Travellers cheques are also a good way of taking insured funds with you, all French banks and most large hotels accept them but remember to take ID with you, we suggest a passport and a driving licence.
